Lesson learned: my test said the hover bar never hid. Easy to blame the test.

One lesson, learned the hard way, written down so it only has to happen once.

It was the code. One centering widget quietly swallowed the whole screen, so the mouse never "left." Greedy little widget 😂

When a test fails, assume it's telling the truth first.
